History
Founded in 1922 by Rachele Clerici and her husband Alessandro Tessuto as a company for trading in silk fabrics, Clerici Tessuto, which now got to its fourth generation, is nowadays one of the most important textiles manufacturers in the world for the luxury sector, with ranges for men’s and women’s clothing, accessories and home furnishing.
Nowdays
The company now owns a complete small scale textiles production chain: weaving and warping, dye works and printing, which employs more than 300 employees, covering the entire finishing cycle of silk and other natural fibers. The company manufactures, finishes, transforms and sells more than 2.500.000 meters of fabric per year, with a sales network that reaches 2.200 customers in 64 countries.
In addition to the Italian head offices, there are also two commercial companies: Clerici Tessuto France settled in Paris and CTC USA Corp. in New York.

Logistics
The company has a logistic pole settled in a more than 3.000 square mt complex in Villa Guardia. The activities carried out in this pole are the quality control of raw fabrics, dispositions of the working, receipt of the finished products and the last quality control before shipping.
Outlet and Retail Store
Located in Milan, new tess is the retail store and outlet of Clerici Tessuto.
It is open to the public and to couture houses and offers a vast selection of top quality apparel and bridal fabrics: a continuous supply of more than 700 fabulous plain fabrics for dressmaking and fashion in 100% pure silk, stretch silk, wool, cotton, linen and microfiber and a wide selection of gorgeous running out woven, printed, velvet, lace and embroidery fabrics.
